Murdock, NE, September 22, 2014 -- Oxbow Animal Health has announced the hiring of Carrie Buckley as Quality Assurance Supervisor. In her position, Buckley will work to assure consistent quality by developing, training, and enforcing effective quality management practices. Other key responsibilities will include validating processes, developing documentation, and training staff members throughout the organization.
Buckley comes to Oxbow with a strong agricultural and animal health background, having worked in multiple roles across research, production, and quality. She brings to Oxbow considerable experience with investigations, documentation, and product quality standards under various regulatory authorities. She received her Masters of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where her thesis was a feasibility study on equine glycated hemoglobin in relation to fasting blood glucose levels. She grew up on a Nebraska acreage with horses and many other farm animals and continues this way of life today with her own family.
“Oxbow is a perfect fit for me as I have combined my love of animals in with my science background,” said Buckley. “The people are great, the work is rewarding, and I get to make a difference every day for pet owners around the world. I am really looking forward to expanding my career alongside Oxbow Animal Health.”
“Oxbow is committed to producing products of the highest quality for pets all over the globe,” said John Miller, President and Owner of Oxbow Animal Health. “Carrie brings valuable experience in the animal health field, as well as a passion for animal health and a proven track record of success within the realm of quality assurance. We are very excited about Carrie’s addition to the Oxbow team.”
